Pricing

Free where it costs us nothing. $4 where it does.

Your library lives on your device, so keeping it there costs us nothing and is not metered. What costs money is the work done on a server: answering questions, writing a digest, keeping a complete copy of a page.

Free

no card

Saving, reading, search and sync, on as many devices as you like. Five Recall questions a month, and podcasts and videos transcribed within a monthly cap.

  • Unlimited saves — there is no item cap
  • Full-text and meaning-based search, offline
  • Highlights, notes, collections, sharing
  • Summaries and tags produced on your phone

Plus

$4 a month, or $40 a year

Everything in Free, and the things that cost us something to run.

  • Recall without a limit — ask your library anything
  • Complete page copies, kept for good
  • A weekly digest of what you saved
  • Listen: your saves as a narrated programme

First month free. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.

Prices in US dollars. Bought on a phone through the App Store, or on the web.

What the free plan is not

It is not a trial with a countdown, and not a cap you will hit in a fortnight. There is no limit on how much you save, on how many devices you use, or on how long any of it stays.

No item cap
Ten thousand saves cost the same as ten. The earlier plan capped free syncing at ten items; that was removed in 2026 and is not coming back.
No storage tier
Text is small. If a limit is ever needed it will be on media, and it will be said plainly here first.
Search is never paid
Both kinds — exact words and meaning — run on your device on every plan.
Transcription is free, within a cap
A podcast with no transcript is a save you cannot search, which is broken rather than premium. Plus lifts the monthly cap.

If you stop paying

Does my library disappear?

No. Everything you saved stays on your device, keeps syncing, and stays searchable. Paying is about what comes back out of the library, not about keeping it.

What about complete page copies?

They are kept on our servers for 90 days after a subscription ends, then removed. The readable text of every page stays for good, and the copy on the device that made it is never touched.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by whoever sold the subscription — Apple for an App Store purchase, or Stripe for one bought on the web. We cannot refund an App Store purchase on Apple’s behalf.

How do I cancel?

In your Apple account settings for a phone purchase, or from the billing page in Settings for a web one. A subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Is there a student or regional price?

Not yet. If $4 is the thing standing in your way, write and say so — that is useful to know while the price is still young.
